Current notified resource consents

Outlined below are the latest notified resource consents and hearings. Also detailed on this page are the steps to follow if you would like to make a submission on one of these proposals.

Publicly notified resource consents

  • To change the use of a five bedroom residential unit to Residential Visitor Accommodation for up to 179 nights per calendar year, for up to nine guests at 5 Conifer Lane, Queenstown

Limited notified resource consents

Section 95B of the Resource Management Act 1991, and Section 29 of the Housing Accords and Special Housing Areas Act 2013, provides that only parties served with Limited Notifications are permitted to make a formal submission.

  • Use of two residential units for a Residential Visitor Accommodation activity for up to 365 days per calendar year with a minimum stay of two nights, accommodating up to eight (8) guests per residential unit at 32A and 32B Dart Place, Queenstown.

  • To lawfully establish an existing swing mooring (M247), to the south of Eely Point, Lake Wānaka.

  • To remove an existing swing mooring (M85) from the bed of Lake Whakatipu (Whakātipu-Wai-Māori), and to re-establish this mooring approximately 13m to the west, requiring land use consents from the Otago Regional Council and the Queenstown Lakes District Council.

  • To lawfully establish an existing swing mooring (M105) to the west of the Frankton Marina, Lake Whakatipu (Whakātipu-Wai-Māori), requiring land use consents from the Otago Regional Council and the Queenstown Lakes District Council.

  • To remove an existing swing mooring from the bed of Lake Wakatipu (Whakātipu-Wai-Māori), and to re-establish it in a new location on the southern side of the Frankton Arm to the north of 659 Peninsula Road, Kelvin Heights.

  • To lawfully establish an existing swing mooring (M246), to the south of Eely Point, Lake Wānaka.

  • To lawfully establish an existing swing mooring (M53) on the southern shoreline of the Frankton Arm, Kelvin Grove, Lake Whakatipu, Queenstown

Submissions can be posted, dropped into Council offices or emailed to rcsubmission@qldc.govt.nz
