Current notified resource consents

Outlined below are the latest notified resource consents and hearings. Also detailed on this page are the steps to follow if you would like to make a submission on one of these proposals.

Publicly notified resource consents

Limited notified resource consents

Section 95B of the Resource Management Act 1991, and Section 29 of the Housing Accords and Special Housing Areas Act 2013, provides that only parties served with Limited Notifications are permitted to make a formal submission.

  • To lawfully establish an existing swing mooring (M206), on the bed and surface of Lake Wānaka, to the south of the Wānaka Marina, within Roys Bay, Lake Wānaka.

  • To lawfully establish an existing swing mooring on the bed and surface of Lake Wakatipu to the south of the Queenstown Gardens, Park Street, Queenstown.

  • To remove an existing swing mooring from the bed of Lake Wakatipu and re-establish it in a slightly different location, and to authorise a second existing swing mooring in its current location.  This would be on the northern side of the Frankton Arm, to the west of the Frankton Marina, within Lake Wakatipu.

  • To lawfully establish an existing swing mooring (M38) located on the southern shoreline of Kelvin Grove within the Frankton Arm of Lake Wakatipu.  This would be on the southern side of the Frankton Arm, to the east of the Kelvin Heights Golf Course Road and Queenstown Golf Course, within Lake Wakatipu.

  • To lawfully establish an existing swing mooring (M179) and an existing jetty (S97), both located on the north-western shoreline of the Frankton Arm, Lake Wakatipu.  This is on the bed of Lake Wakatipu, along the north-western shoreline of the Frankton Arm, Queenstown. The jetty is situated in front of 271 Frankton Road.

  • To lawfully establish an existing swing mooring (M233), to the south of Eely Point, Lake Wānaka.

  • To lawfully establish an existing swing mooring (M60) located on the southern shoreline of the Frankton Arm of Lake Wakatipu.  This is on the bed of Lake Wakatipu, within the Frankton Arm, to the north of 623 Peninsula Road, Kelvin Heights, Queenstown.

  • To lawfully establish two existing swing moorings with the Frankton Arm of Lake Whakatipu, these are located on the bed of Lake Whakatipu. Mooring M121 is to the west of the Frankton Marina, and mooring M25 is to the east of the Kelvin Grove Recreation Reserve, Queenstown.

  • To lawfully establish an existing swing mooring (M122) on the northern shoreline of the Frankton Arm, to the west of the Frankton Marina, Lake Whakatipu.

  • To lawfully establish an existing swing mooring (M227), to the south of Eely Point, Lake Wānaka.
