The Wānaka-Upper Clutha Community Board (WUCCB) is excited to announce the continuation of their community engagement series, 'Share with Us,' providing locals with a platform to connect directly with their elected members.

The first session for 2024 is scheduled for Wednesday 21 February, at McMurdo Park in Albert Town from 3.00-5.00 pm, in collaboration with Summerdaze and the pop-up activities programme by Queenstown Lakes District Council (QLDC).

WUCCB Chair, Simon Telfer extends an open invitation to the community, encouraging everyone interested to come along to chat with board members and councillors, and to share their ideas, feedback, or concerns.

"Our first event promises a vibrant atmosphere with a free sausage sizzle courtesy of the Board, and all the great games and activities for tamariki that are part and parcel with Council’s Summerdaze programme. We hope to see a lively gathering of locals for an afternoon of conversation, food, and fun," said Simon.

'Share with Us' sessions will occur every eight weeks, with future sessions being held at the Paetara Aspiring Central regularly from 12.00-1.30pm on 6 March, 1 May, 3 July, 4 September, and 6 November.

These events offer an invaluable opportunity to directly engage with elected members in the Queenstown Lakes District.

Simon noted that event details, including locations and times, will be readily available on the Council's Facebook page and official website.
