You can now get the road reports daily from the QLDC. Our Twitter feed (@qldccoms) is the first to be updated with a short report that gives you an overview of what the morning's conditions are like. You can also read it on our feed below (scroll down) or on our Facebook page (follow QLDCinfo). The full report will then be uploaded with a link provided daily via our Twitterfeed. Just click on the link to get the report in full.

These reports are a general overview of the conditions at one particular moment in time. We're not able to list every patch of ice and as conditions can change rapidly, drivers will need to exercise common sense and drive cautiously on a daily basis. 

Road reports will in most cases be available before 7am.  For updates throughout the day on State Highway conditions go to www.nzta.govt.nz or phone 0800 44 44 49.

Work will be taking place on the Kelvin Heights water supply until Wednesday.

Full water shutdowns are unlikely but residents may notice a decrease in water pressure.

In the event of a full water shutdown taking place, check back here for further info.
